Our highlights from 2014
2014 has been a fun filled, eventful year, with goodness and prosperity for both our clients and Angels. We’ve grown, adapted and seen our clients achieve award-winning results. We couldn’t be happier for them. Take a look at several of our highlights from the year in review….
New Angels – Growth has been one of the biggest highlights of the year for us, with three new Angels on board. Business Development Manager, Adele McCoy and Media Graduates Megan and Zarrion joined the team in the summer, adding extra layers of support for our customers.
Innovation – We embraced new media, helping CityJet and Cardiff Airport, become one of the first travel companies in Wales to use Sky AdSmart – an innovative new TV platform for reaching specific audiences when they are switched on. e.g. you could be watching something completely different advert to your neighbours. From rail station stairwells and ticket gates across South Wales, we’ve also helped them be the first to place adverts on T-sides and bendy buses around Cardiff.
In-house, we’ve increased our creativity, rebuilding our website, and joining visual social media platforms, such as Pinterest – one of the UK’s largest social networks. We’ve also boosted our activity on Twitter with useful industry-related news and tips for a growing number of followers.
Proud Sponsors – We were thrilled to sponsor the CIM Canmol Wales Marketing Awards 2014; turning welcome drinks pink for all with good luck charms. It was a great event and we had a great time connecting with Marketing Managers and Directors.
Award winning – We couldn’t be happier to see clients, Swansea University awarded ‘University of of the Year’ at the What Uni Student Choice Awards, and Space Fitting Furniture winning prestigious national KBB award ‘Interior Showroom of the Year’ and recognised at the Cardiff Life Awards for their outstanding interior designs. New Campaigns – We’re also pleased with all of the new campaigns for our well-loved clients, including ITV Wales Cymru Weather sponsorship for Cardiff Airport and Vueling, as part of an integrated campaign, and launching new airline CityJet into the Welsh market. We’ve also helped Swansea University with another successful student recruitment campaign, after last year’s targets were surpassed and above the national averages. Plus we’ve put together a mixed media campaign for Coleg-y-Cymoedd and a host of others.
We’re delighted as we head into the New Year to shortly announce a series of new campaigns we’ve been working hard on behind the scenes for some new & existing clients.
New Clients – We’ve helped some new clients this year, including the Child Commissioner for Wales with their #RightsRoad89 campaign – celebrating 25 years of children’s rights. Hundreds of children took part in creating a wall map. (See picture below)
We’ve helped Welsh for Adults promote their courses and encourage professionals to participate in learning the Welsh language. The results were excellent with Welsh for Adults courses receiving pre-bookings that over delivered on targets. We’ve also won a tender to help others, such as Creative Rural Communities for the Vale of Glamorgan Council with a new campaign promoting 10 walks across the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan.
Smiles all round– The hard work set aside, we’ve had a blast this year networking, on socials, meeting some lovely people along the way. Our selfies with the likes of Only Men Aloud and the lovely Mark Wright says it all.
